Nativity scene

O Come, All Ye Faithful.......

The Nativity scene is called many things; creche, manger scene or crib and represents the scene of the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. Crib scenes feature figurines depicting the birth and story of Jesus: Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Shepherds, three wise men, sheep and angels. Jesus was born in a stable because there was no room for Mary and Joseph at the Inn in Bethlehem. The scene is celebrated at Christmas through theater productions, church displays and programs, home and lawn decorations, movies, and through other fun Christmas activities and crafts.
