How to Draw an Alien for Kids
Aloha everyone, welcome back to another fun filled day at Dragoart.com. Today, I want to begin by filling more requests, and then end the day with a couple tutorials that I wanted to upload a while back. Let us begin by learning "how to draw an alien for kids", step by step. I figured that since someone wanted me to make a lesson of an alien in a ˜for kids' style, it might as well be a cool looking extraterrestrial figure. The design concept came from a number of characters that I have seen in my lifetime from popular alien based movies. The final outcome of the alien came out to be pretty darn cute and even a bit mysterious looking. In general I think you will have a blast as you learn the ropes on drawing an alien for kids. I will return in a few so stay tuned in to see what is coming your way next. Adios amigos, and peace out!....
Sometimes drawing an alien is very much like drawing a person. This is because they have the same body parts as we do like a head, arms, torso, legs, and feet. To start, you will begin by drawing out a shape for the head, and then draw in the lining that will form the torso and shoulder guides. Next and last for this step, make a facial guideline which will help you draw in the face evenly.
All you are going to do here is sketch out the actual shape of the alien's head like so, and I made the ears long like a string bean just to be original. Draw in some nods on the head which is supposed to be for hair.
As you can see you will begin drawing out the eyes and since this is an alien, be sure that that stay large and spaced far apart. Add some light lining for the nose, and then draw the caps for the ear tips.
Now that the head and face is all drawn in, you can get busy with drawing the body. Start by making a long skinny neck, and then draw the shoulders. When drawing out the arms notice how the torso is almost in the shape of a triangle. Draw the arms and hands, and then proceed to step five.
And finally for the last drawing step, simply draw out the waist, hips, thighs, legs, and feet. You can leave out the tail if you want but I think it's a nice touch. Erase all the messy lines that you made as you drew this alien, and then your done.
Now that you have cleaned up everything, your drawing of an alien for kids should have come out looking like the one you see here. The only thing to do now is have even more fun as you color it in.
