Cancer
"Madi you have Leukimia" I still think those were the most horrifying words i have ever heard . Just knowing that i had to fight for my life at the age of 10 with cancer in my blood which in doctor talk means Leukimia.they still dont know why or how someone gets Leukimia they just know it happens it may only happen to a few but it does happen. I remember the story like it was yesterday it all started October 11,2007. I was on stage performing the play To Kill A Mockingbird at the Stratford festival theatre the biggest theatre in canada and one of the biggest in North America. When my back really hurt I stuck with the show till the end but boy was I in pain. After the show my mom took me to my grandpa`s house in Walkerton . My grandpa was a doctor in Walkerton so the next day he took me to the hospital to get a back x-ray and since i was pale blood work. The back x-ray was fine so he sent me back to his house to wait for him to get the blood work results. It took him really long but when he came back he had bad news i was really ill he thought it was Leukimia but to make sure my mom my grandparents and I whwnt to Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. After I took more blood samples and the doctors talked it over it was sure and a doctor named Dr. Gupta came in to the emergency room and said "Madi you have Leukimia " So now you know and still to this day i am going in for surgeries, chemo, and bloodwork on a regulor basis. The point of this blog is not to feel sorry for me but to make you apreciative of you annd what you have. by madi
