Sofia is just a regular girl until her mother marries King Roland ll of the Kingdom of Enchancia. Sofia is whisked off to live a glamourous life as a princess and step-siblings, Amber and James. As Sophia wears pretty dresses and sparkly shoes she is learning how to fit in, making new friends, conquering new skills and building sibling relationships. The King gave Princess Sophia the Amulet of Avalor as a welcoming gift to his new daughter. This enchanted neckless bestows upon it wearer magical abilities depending on either a good or bad deed. Through her adventures, Sophia learns what makes a real princess is what's on the inside. Princess Sophia learns kindness, generousity, loyalty, honesty and grace.
