Colorful Drawers
Hellokids.com suggests you make your own decorative accessory box for optimum storage.
What you need
- 4 large match boxes (at least)
- Large beads
- Colored felt or paint
- Glue
- Scissors
- For decoration: small beads, metallized paper, sparkles or other items
Directions
- Start by pasting 2 matchboxes side by side, then two more boxes on top and another two boxes on top of the second row. You will have a total of 6 drawers.
- Paint your box as colorful as you would like. You could also cover with fely or wrapping paper.
- Once everything is dry you can add decoration to your drawers. You will find many fun things to decorate your drawers at Michael's Craft store.
- For drawer pulls you can use large wooden beads or make your own out of clay.
- Now you just have to fill the drawers with your scrunchies, elastics, barrettes and other beauty salon accessories. This also would make a great drawer for all your different colored loom bands.
