Mum,
Now that I’m grown up enough for the most beautiful of all the mothers,
I offer you these flowers, but also hearts and small homemade butter cakes.
I shall be as good as gold and no more tease my little brother like I did yesterday.
On your tender cheek, I lay down a huge kiss.
