Pom Pom Clip Creatures
What you need:
- Cardboard (5x5cm)
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Yarn
- Hair clip (quite large)
- 2 small eyes or 2 beads
- Glue
A hair clip decorated with sweet monster is a fun gift for any occasion for all your friends.
How to make the Critter Clips
Little Monster
- Place a small glass on top of your cardboard and trace a circle. Now trace a very small circle in the middle. Cut the circle out and cut it to look like the letter C (see picture).
- With the remaining ¾ of a circle label one end A and the othe B. Begin to wrap your yarn around cardboard starting at end A and continue wrapping until you reach point B. Let the two ends of the ring exposed. Cut the remaining yarn.
- Thread a piece of yarn through the needle, about 12 inches long. The yarn must be the same color as the yarn on the ring.
- Gently push the needle between the cardboard ring and yarn to have yarn on each end of the ring hanging out and tie in a knot. But do not cut the remaining piece!
- Now pass the scissors in the outer edge of the ring to cut all the yarn around it. The monster's head is almost complete.
- With more needle and thread you can attach your monster to your clip and tie tightly. Cut any remaining yarn.
- Finally, glue the eyes in the tuft of wool. Here's a little monster just waiting to be unleashed on the head of one of your friends!
