Devils Costume

The Devil is either completely red or completely black, or even sometimes both!
For the costume, all you need is a red or black tracksuit (top and bottom) and black shoes.

Then you need to make the Devils tail. For this, a tie (the same colour as the tracksuit) borrowed from your Dad should be perfect! Stuff the tie with cotton wool and use a length of wire to make the tail rigid. For an extra devilish touch, add a triangular shaped piece of cardboard or tissue on the end of the tail. Now sew the tail onto your tracksuit bottoms.

To give the finishing touch to your costume, you can find a devils fork and horns in most toy shops at Halloween. You can of course make the devils horns yourself, using a black hair band (borrowed from your Mum or sister) on which you fix 2 triangular pieces of cardboard.

You can also add a black or red cape to your costume (the cape can be bought in a toy shop or you can use a piece of fabric to make it yourself).
As for make-up, cover your face with red powder and then use a black pencil to outline your eyes. Colour your lips black too and draw a pointy beard on your chin.
