How to Draw Queen Elinor, Brave
I'm sure most of you know that Disney Pixar is coming out with another movie called 'Brave' that will be in theaters sometime in June of this year. It's about a young lady called Merida who is princess of a kingdom set in Scotland. This lesson is going to teach you how to create her mother who happens to be a graceful, wise and string queen who's only interest is to keep the people and her family happy. Today I will be showing you "how to draw Queen Elinor", step by step. She is a beautifully striking figure that has a very graceful appearance. Her husband King Fergus is more like a big child than anything else. I don't know how strong her role will be in the film, but she looks like she can hold her own. I wish I could tell you more, but I can't so what do you say we just get busy with drawing Queen Elinor from Brave instead. When a descriptive background becomes available to me, I will update this lessons description. For now enjoy the tutorial and let me know if you plan on seeing the film. Adios people and have fun!....
Queen Elinor will be easy to draw because she has a simple, yet beautiful face. Start with the shape of her head and then sketch in the facial guideline.
You will now sketch out the actual structure of her face like so, then draw the framing line from her crown which will be part of her hair as well.
Using the facial guideline begin sketching in the features of her face like the almond shapes of her eyes, the nicely shaped eyebrows, then her nose and mouth.
To complete the eyes draw in the eyeballs and color in the pupils. You will then sketch in the crease of her eyelids which will give Queen Elinor's eyes the look of being slightly closed. Sketch in the bridge of her nose as well.
The line that you drew in step two is going to be completed now. You will draw out the shape of her crown which is only a three tiered piece. Add the jewel in the center, and then draw the top of her head which is in the form of her puffy hair.
You will now finish her off by drawing out the long parts of her long straight hair which should be drawn in a nice thick chunky manner. Add the wraps around the bottom part of her hair, then sketch out the shape of her neck. Erase your mistakes, then you're done.
Here is your Scottish queen when you're all finished. Now you can start coloring her in.
