How to Draw a Seahorse for Kids
Another great kind of animal to make for the 'for kids' section is one that lives in the sea. Someone asked me if I could make a simplified version of a seahorse so I made went ahead and made "how to draw a seahorse for kids", step by step. The seahorse is a really cute sea critter that I could actually look at all day if I had one as a pet in my fish tank. It would also be cool to have a whole seahorse set up, and what I mean by that is having a fish tank that contained nothing but a habitat for seahorses. What makes these animals so easy to draw is their simple biological design. Their bodies are incredibly easy to replicate and even simpler to draw in a for kids fashion. I think that a lot of you animal lovers will enjoy learning "how to draw a seahorse for kids", and one of the best things about this tutorial, is the way you can color in your critter any tone of shade you like. So go ahead and live outside the box, but be sure to try and stick around for more drawing fun.....
Begin with drawing two circles, one for the head and another for the body. Connect the two shapes with an arched line which also serves as the shape for the horse's curved back.
Using the shape you just drew in step one, begin sketching out the actual form of the horses face, jawline, and the body. The lining is uneven and notched.
Draw in the fins on the back of the jaw like so, and then draw in the large eye and eyeball. Make the lining for the mouth, and then draw the texture lines on the back of the head.
Draw out the rest of the seahorse's body and make sure that you draw the tip or end of the tail curled upward at the bottom. The lining for the back should also contain notches.
Add texture lining on the back of the body and then clean up the drawing. Great work everyone I hope you had fun.
Here is the line art when all is said and done. I hope you liked this tutorial on drawing a seahorse for kids.
