I had so much fun last night! I got dressed up as Snow White (I even got the sparkly red shoes!), and my Daddy took me out trick or treating while we waited for Mommy to get out of work and join us.

By the time we all went back out, I was already really good at going up to people's doors all by myself and saying Trick or Treat!

There were so many different kinds of cool costumes. We saw a couple other Snow Whites while we were out, too. My Daddy said that I was the cutest one, but I bet all the Snow Whites' Dads say that.
We walked so much! It was fun, but my feet were tired by the end.

I got so much candy, too! We had to empty my basket three times! I was a good girl the whole time, too. I didn't even try to eat any candy until we were all done trick or treating!

I hope I can get through it all by next Halloween!

I tried hot chocolate for the first time today, and as you can tell from the look on my face I love it!!!
Our house almost burned down yesterday! The people that live upstairs weren't home, but their whole place caught on fire. I was playing outside with my Dad when we saw the flames and all the smoke coming out of the window upstairs. My Dad had to call 911! Our place didn't burn up, but it was really scary! Firemen were running around in my house to make sure the fire didn't spread. A fireman gave me a sticker too!
Mommy came home from work because she was really worried about me, but I was okay. We went out to dinner after that to celebrate our house not burning up!
I'm learning all kinds of things these days. I can already tell what numbers 1,2,3,4,5 and 8 are on my flash cards, except sometimes I get 8 and 3 mixed up. I love to sing my ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle and the birthday song while my Daddy plays the guitar. We make up our own songs too - they're usually about our kitties or Dora and Diego.
I'm surprising my Mommy and Daddy with new words and sentences each day, and they love it. Daddy and I can't decide if Mommy is pretty or beautiful, and we go back and forth about it every day. He thinks she's both, but I usually have strong opinions about one or the other. It depends on the day.
I might be seeing my Grandma (Mommy's mom)this weekend, so I'm really excited about that. My other Grandma (Daddy's mom)came out to visit for a few days earlier this month, and we had so much fun! But as you can see here, I'm pretty tired:

What an exciting summer it's been! I had to take a break from singing and dancing all over the house to let you know about all the stuff that's been happening!
The picture up top is from our first real family vacation! We drove all over the Pacific Northwest! We saw the ocean, waterfalls, rivers, and all kinds of mountains! It was so cool.
We also saw all kinds of animals, like deer, butterflies, snakes, an eagle and even a huge elk! We were walking through a big forest and this huuuge thing that looked like a reindeer stepped out in front of us! It was taller than my dad.
We went on a ferry, too. It was my first time on a boat, and it sure was windy!

Anyway, we also stopped by to see my Aunt Alicia and Uncle Rick (I call him Trick though), and I had sooo much fun playing with their cats! We played old blues records and ate a really good dinner with shrimp (I looove shrimp!) and a salad with nuts and strawberries (I love strawberries even more!). I can't wait to see them again!
I made my mom and dad laugh last night when I pointed at the stars on the ceiling and said "Look! Estrellas!" They didn't know I could speak so much Spanish! At this pace, I'll definitely be ready for our trip to Chile in December.
Okay it's lunch time! I have to go! Bye!
