Celebrating Saint Patrick's Day in Chicago

Did you know Chicago, Illinois celebrates St. Patrick's Day by dying there own Chicago River green?! They use 40 pounds of green vegetable dye! You wonder why? In 1962, while the cities pollution control workers were trying to identify sewage in the river using various chemicals, they died the river green. This is now a long standing, but peculiar tradition.

you do the hearts by pushing alt and 3 @ the same time but u have to use the 3 on the right side of your key board♥♥ohh and i saw a pix of the white house last year on st.patricks day the fountain was green!lol♥♥
